I can’t remember the last gift I got that had me as excited and wound up as my Christmas gift yesterday. My husband bought me a color nook by Barnes & Noble. I of course had to explore all the features and discovered that it comes preloaded with some simple but nice game apps. My favorite feature is the LendMe app that allows you to read books that friends and family purchase on their nook.

If you already have ePubs or pdf files you can use those on your nook too as long as they are not protected by the author. I will post more as I do research on this topic.

I wanted to add “OMG I love my new Nook!” I cannot express how nice this Nookcolor is. It is a tad on the heavy side (feels heavy) but so far that is really the only drawback I have found.
